New Horizons for Seniors Program
Empowering Hakka Seniors through Cultural Exchange, Active Living & Community Connections
About the Program
Funded in part by Employment and Social Development Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP), the Toronto Hakka Heritage Alliance (THHA) has successfully delivered targeted community initiatives for older adults. Through completed grant projects in 2019, 2023, and 2025, these workshops promoted healthy aging, intergenerational knowledge sharing, physical well-being, and social inclusion within the global Hakka diaspora.
